Three shot in Point Breeze; woman, 62, left in critical

Two women and a man were wounded in a triple shooting Monday afternoon in the city's Point Breeze section, police said.

Just after 4:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of South 19th Street, a 62-year-old woman was shot several times in the upper right leg, police said. Medics took her to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she was listed in critical but stable condition.

A 32-year-old woman was shot in the right arm. Medics also took her to Penn Presbyterian. She was reported in stable condition. The third victim, a 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left leg, was taken by police to the same hospital and was reported in stable condition.

Police reported no arrests.
