Man shot, killed under El in Kensington
A man was shot and killed under the Market-Frankford El in Kensington early Sunday, according to police. At 1:03 a.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Kensington Avenue for reports of gunfire. At that location, police said they found a 35-year-old man with several bullet wounds to his chest.

At 1:03 a.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Kensington Avenue for reports of gunfire. At that location, police said they found a man with several bullet wounds to his chest.
The man was identified Monday as 45-year-old Maului Lewis of Mayfair.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:27 a.m.
Police said there has been no arrest in the case and a motive for the shooting remains unknown.
