Montco ticket splits Cash 5 jackpot

A ticket sold in Montgomery County split a $325,000 jackpot in a Pennsylvania Cash 5 game this weekend. The ticket, along with one sold in Allegheny County, matched all five numbers drawn Friday: 11, 12, 215, 26 and 39.

The ticket, along with one sold in Allegheny County, matched all five numbers drawn Friday: 11, 12, 215, 26 and 39.

The lucky Montgomery County ticket was sold in Norristown, at the Quick Stop located at 927 Stanbridge Street, Pennsylvania Lottery officials said.

The ticket holder and the Allegheny County winner will each get $162,500. The other ticket was bought at a Super Mart in McKees Rocks. The winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.

The retailers each get a $500 bonus.

In other lottery news:

- A Pennsylvania Cash4Life ticket worth $1 million is about to expire. The ticket holder won the second-tier prize of $1,000 a week for life in the Sept. 14, 2015, drawing and has until Sept. 14, 2016, to claim the prize. That ticket was sold at the Price Chopper located at 4551 Milford Road in East Stroudsburg.

- The top instant ticket prize in New Jersey in July was a $177,000 win from a Shimmering 7s ticket, purchased at Gray's Liquor Store at 2559 Nottingham Way in Trenton.

- Jackpots in both the Powerball and Mega Millions games are on the rise after no one won either jackpot this weekend. Mega Millions' jackpot for Tuesday is up to $84 million for the annuity, or $58 million cash. The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday's game rolls over to $154 million, or $107 million for the cash option.
