Suspect surrenders in triple shooting that left bystander dead

A 22-year-old suspect in a triple shooting that left a bystander dead in the city's Fairhill section last month surrendered to police on Wednesday.
Dayquine Cooper was charged with murder, criminal attempted murder, and related offenses stemming from a shootout on July 15 in the 2800 block of North Ninth Street. Cooper allegedly was in a gun fight with at least one other man who remained at large Thursday, police said.
A 64-year-old man, identified by police as Jerry Floyd, was fatally wounded. A 15-year-old girl and a 48-year-old woman also were shot but survived.
