Man shot twice in the mouth in Tioga district

A 41-year-old man was in stable condition after being shot twice in the mouth Tuesday night in the city's Tioga section, police said.

The shooting occurred just before 8:25 p.m. in the 3600 block of North 15th Street, police said. The man, who also suffered a graze wound to his head, was taken by private automobile to Temple University Hospital.

Police reported no arrests.
