Services set for Philly firefighter

Funeral services will be held next week for Philadelphia firefighter Gabriel Lee, who died Saturday while working a night shift in North Philadelphia, department officials said Wednesday.A viewing is scheduled for Monday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Deliverance Evangelistic Church, 2001 W. Lehigh Avenue, the department said. A second viewing will take place at the church on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service will follow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, the department said, and burial will be at Ivy Hill Cemetery, 1201 Easton Road.

Lee, 42, was a 17-year veteran of the Fire Department assigned to Ladder 12. He died Saturday night at Engine 50, officials said. The cause of his death is still under investigation, they said.
