Man shot during stickup in Hunting Park

A 60-year-old man was shot and critically injured during an attempted robbery on a street in Hunting Park, police said.

The victim, whose name was not released, was shot once on his right side around 5 p.m. while on the 1300 block of Airdrie Street, police said.

He was taken by a private vehicle to Temple University Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said. No arrests were made, but police said they are searching for an 18 to 20-year-old man wearing black clothing. - Vibha Kannan
