Woman critical after being pulled from Delaware River

A woman was in critical condition after being pulled out of the Delaware River by the police Marine Unit near Penn's Landing Saturday morning, police said.

A woman was in critical condition after being pulled out of the Delaware River by the police Marine Unit near Penn's Landing Saturday morning, police said.

The woman was rescued at about 10:30 a.m. near the Blue Cross RiverRink, by the 100 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard in Old City.

Police said CPR was performed. Medics rushed the woman to Hahnemann University Hospital.

No information was available on why the woman was in the water.
