Man, 23, critical after being shot 4 times in Kensington

A 23-year-old man was in critical condition Wednesday after being shot four times in Philadelphia's Kensington section, police said. The shooting happened about 11:15 a.m. near A and East Wishart Streets. The victim was shot twice in the chest, once in his left leg and once in his left arm, police said. He was taken by a private vehicle to Temple University Hospital's Episcopal Campus on Lehigh Avenue.

The shooting happened about 11:15 a.m. near A and East Wishart Streets. The victim was shot twice in the chest, once in his left leg and once in his left arm, police said. He was taken by a private vehicle to Temple University Hospital's Episcopal Campus on Lehigh Avenue.

He was then transferred in critical condition by medics to Temple University Hospital's main campus on North Broad Street, police said.

Police said they have the identity of a suspect, but no arrest has been made. No names were released, and no weapon has been recovered.
