Two 18-year-old men have been charged in connection with the shooting death of another teen in Chester.

On Wednesday afternoon police were called to the 2000 block of Madison for a shooting and found Tyree Brentson, 18, lying on the front porch of a home with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police determined Brentson had been shot inside the home.

Two suspects, Lorenzo Perez and Wade Hammond, have been arrested in his death, officials said.

Perez was charged with first- and third-degree murder, possessing instruments of a crime, tampering with evidence and other related crimes. He is being held without bail.

Hammond was charged with tampering with evidence, a firearms violation and conspiracy. He was unable to post bail.
