Authorities have apprehended two suspects and are seeking a third in an attack outside Northeast High School this week that left a school police officer with a broken jaw.

Authorities have apprehended two suspects and are seeking a third in an attack outside Northeast High School this week that left a school police officer with a broken jaw.

Philadelphia police said Friday that Roger Millington, 19, and a juvenile had been taken into custody in the Monday incident.

Millington, who police said is homeless, and the juvenile, whose name was not released, were both charged with aggravated assault and other offenses.

Police also are asking for the public's help in finding the third suspect in the attack, Edwin Burgos, 23, whose last known address was the 600 block of West Huntingdon Street.

Officials say the trio approached a group of students waiting for a SEPTA bus on Cottman Avenue near Castor Avenue about 3:30 p.m., wanting to fight.

When the two school police officers tried to stop the fight, the assailants attacked them. One officer suffered the broken jaw; the other, bruises to an ankle.

Anyone with information about Burgos' whereabouts is being asked to contact Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153 or -3154.
