Philly police officer injured in crash

A Philadelphia police officer was treated for minor injuries early Saturday following a crash with another driver in West Philadelphia, authorities said.

The accident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. at the intersection of 52nd Street and Wyalusing Avenue, police said.

The officer, who had been responding to a call for help from another officer, was treated at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and released. - Staff
