Witnesses: Man forced into trunk in S. Philly

A man was forced into the trunk of a car and disappeared Wednesday night in South Philadelphia, police said.

The apparent abduction, reported by multiple witnesses, occurred around 7 p.m. at Broad Street and Snyder Avenue, police said.

Two white men in their early 20s forced a black man in his mid-20s wearing a red jacket into the trunk of a silver Chevrolet Monte Carlo with tinted windows and a Pennsylvania license plate of JRG2441.

The car was last seen eastbound on Snyder, police said.

Anyone with information on the abduction can call 911.
