A Delaware County woman who was seriously injured after a relative's van rolled over her has been upgraded to good condition at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday.

Jacqueline Davis, 20, of Morton, had been in critical condition when she was rushed to the hospital March 17.

About noon that day, she was the front-seat passenger in a Dodge minivan driven by her sister, Rena Honn, 30. Honn drove to the Delaware County Housing Authority office at 1855 Constitution Ave. in Woodlyn, but had not properly put the gear shift into park, Ridley Township police have said.

After Honn went inside the building, the van started rolling backward. Davis tried to get out, but got caught by the door and slid underneath the van, which continued to roll backward until it hit a parked vehicle.

Davis was trapped facedown under a front-passenger tire and was not breathing when she was rescued about 10 minutes later after a passerby spotted her.
