Cops still seeking leads in search for missing Chesco teen

Police are still seeking help in finding a 14-year-old boy who was last seen after leaving a Chester County facility for children with disabilities earlier this week.

Police are still seeking help in finding a 14-year-old boy who was last seen after leaving a Chester County facility for children with disabilities earlier this week.

Authorities on Friday said that John Parker remained missing and was last seen in the Exton Station area about an hour after he left the Devereux Leon Kanner Learning Center Tuesday afternoon.

He was seen walking away from the center at about 2:30 p.m., West Whiteland Township police said.

Police are asking anyone who was in the Exton Station development, at the train station, or traveling on the Route 100 corridor shortly after that time to contact investigators if they have information about the teenager's whereabouts.

It's possible that Parker was heading to the train station, police said.

He may have changed clothes after leaving the center, where he was wearing a T-shirt, jeans and black sneakers, and carrying a green backpack.

Police said Friday that the boy was last seen wearing khaki pants and a black jacket, and was no longer carrying the backpack.

Parker is 5 feet 7 inches tall and 110 pounds. He has tattoos on his left arm.

Anyone with information should call West Whiteland Township police at 610-692-5100.
