GOP nominates Delco Realtor for Pa. House seat

A Ridley Township resident and Realtor has been named as the Republican nominee for the state House seat representing several Delaware County towns.

Patti Rodger Morrisette, who works with Long & Foster Real Estate in Media, also volunteers as a Eucharistic Minister for Crozer Hospital. She is a former Republican committee woman and election machine inspector. Morrisette, a graduate of Ridley High School, is married and has two children.

Democrat Leanne Krueger-Braneky, who won a special election in August after Republican Joe Hackett abruptly resigned the position, currently holds the seat.

The district covers Ridley, Aston, Nether Providence and Springfield Townships, along with Brookhaven, Rutledge, Swarthmore, and Rose Valley Boroughs.
