Traffic lanes are to close on Routes 422 and 363 (Trooper Road) in Montgomery County on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a road widening project, the state Department of Transportation announced.

Travel restrictions will be in place on Trooper Road between Route 422 and Audubon Road, and on Audubon Road approaching the Trooper Road intersection.

Lanes will close on 422 for painting. An eastbound lane will close between the Oaks and Trooper Road interchanges, and a westbound lane will close from the bridge over the Schuylkill to the Trooper Road interchange.

PennDot is working on a $16.8 million project to widen Route 363 and build two new ramps at the interchange of Routes 422 and 363. The project is scheduled for completion this fall.
