Five firefighters slightly hurt when truck crashes

Five firefighters were injured Sunday morning in a West Philadelphia crash involving a firetruck and several parked cars. Police and fire officials said the firefighters all suffered minor injuries. All were taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital.

The crash, involving Ladder 13, happened shortly after 10 a.m. near 55th Street and Baltimore Avenue.

Five firefighters were injured Sunday morning in a West Philadelphia crash involving a firetruck and several parked cars.

Police and fire officials said the firefighters all suffered minor injuries. All were taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital.

At least two parked cars along Baltimore Avenue were damaged. No other injuries were reported.

The crash, involving Ladder 13, happened shortly after 10 a.m. near 55th Street and Baltimore Avenue.

Fire officials said the cause of the crash was under investigation.
