Man critically wounded in Mill Creek shooting

A 37-year-old man was in critical but stable condition after being shot Tuesday afternoon in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia, police said.

Shortly before 4 p.m. at 48th and Aspen Streets, the man was shot twice in the back. Medics took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
