DOYLESTOWN A seminar on the heroin epidemic in Bucks County has been scheduled for Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Life Sciences Building auditorium at Delaware Valley University.

Hosted by the school's criminal justice and counseling psychology departments, and to be led by Assistant District Attorney Matt Weintraub, the event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

"By bringing community leaders together with faculty from relevant programs at DelVal, we're hoping to provide an informative, educational discussion that can increase awareness and understanding of this issue," Audrey Ervin, academic program director for graduate counseling psychology and associate professor of counseling psychology, said in a statement. - Inquirer staff
