Two men were wounded in separate city shootings Friday night, including one that occurred at the same location as a homicide earlier in the day, police said.

Shortly after 8 p.m. at 25th and Oakdale Streets in North Philadelphia, a 40-year-old man was shot in his right thigh and right foot and also was grazed in the head, said Chief Inspector Scott Small. The victim was reported in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.

A 52-year-old man had been fatally shot around 12:30 a.m. Friday at the same location, Small said.

Meanwhile in East Germantown, a 50-year-old man was shot three times outside a takeout beer store sometime after 8 p.m., Small said. The victim got into an argument with another man inside the takeout, Small said. The argument moved outside and the victim was shot in the left side of his chest and in both arms. He was reported in critical but stable condition at Temple. No arrests were reported in either case. - Robert Moran
