3 wounded in shootings, stabbing

Three men were wounded within minutes of each other Thursday night in two shootings and a stabbing in the city, police said.

Three men were wounded within minutes of one another Thursday night in two shootings and a stabbing in the city, police said.

Shortly after 9 p.m., a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the left buttock in the 6700 block of Musgrave Street in East Mount Airy. He was reported in stable condition at Einstein Medical Center.

A few minutes later, a 22-year-old man was shot in the left hip in the area of American and Grange Streets in Olney. He was reported in stable condition at Einstein.

About two minutes later, a 24-year-old man was shot once in the left thigh in the 5200 block of Irving Street in West Philadelphia. Police took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and his condition was not immediately available. No arrests were reported in any of the cases. - Robert Moran
