Man shot on grounds of West Phila.'s Sayre High

A 22-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition Wednesday afternoon after being shot while in a high school lot in West Philadelphia, police said.

Just before 6 p.m., the man was shot in the right leg and left foot at Sayre High School, 5800 Walnut St., police said. Medics took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police reported no arrest. There was no immediate word on whether the shooting had any connection with the high school. - Robert Moran
