Man stabbed in the chest in Harrowgate
A 47-year-old man was stabbed in the chest Tuesday night in the city's Harrowgate section, police said. Around 9 p.m., the man was stabbed on the right side of his chest in the 1800 block of East Thayer Street, police said. He ran to the Market-Frankford El stop at Allegheny Avenue for help and was transported by SEPTA police to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
