Warminster Dollar Tree store is robbed

Warminster Police are searching for a man who held up and robbed a Dollar Tree store on Friday while wielding a handgun.

It was not known how much cash the unidentified suspect took from the store's registers and safe, police said.

Everything inside Dollar Tree stores is typically sold for $1.

The man, who was said to be wearing a red Phillies cap, light-colored long-sleeve shirt, and dark-colored shorts, allegedly forced the store's staff into the store's office and told them to lay on the floor while he was committing the crime.

No one was injured, police said.

The man then fled from the West Countyline Road establishment and was still at large Friday afternoon, police said.
