MOUNT HOLLY - Music by top local bands, food and shopping are on tap for the annual Hollystock Music and Arts Festival on Aug. 8 on historic Main Street.

MOUNT HOLLY - Music by top local bands, food and shopping are on tap for the annual Hollystock Music and Arts Festival on Aug. 8 on historic Main Street.

Music lovers can enjoy the sounds of Rusted Root and more than 40 area bands that will perform from three outdoor stages and restaurants and bars.

The day-long event is free. The fourth annual event is expected to attract thousands of people to Mount Holly's historic district.

The event is being held rain or shine and runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. It will be held on High Street.

Mount Holly's two craft breweries, the Village Idiot Brewing Co. and Spellbound Brewing, along with New Jersey's Flying Fish Beer, will serve a variety of craft brews. Attendees can help support local food banks by visiting the Philabundance booth.

Artists scheduled to perform include Rusted Root's Michael Glabicki, America's Got Talent winner Bianca Ryan, Ozonna, Mach 22, Cold Roses, Kid Felix, Soraia and Alright Junior.

The event is being sponsored by the Lucas Auto Group, Flying Fish Beer, Hainesport Enterprises, Jasper Engines and Transmission and the Affordable Homes Group.
