Fattah's tv-anchor wife mentioned, but not charged in indictment

YESTERDAY'S indictment of
U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah no doubt rattled cages in Philadelphia political circles, and it didn't leave his wife unscathed.
Renee Chenault-Fattah, the congressman's wife and lead anchor for NBC10's weekday broadcasts at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., is described in the charging document as "Person E," a participant in a scheme to falsely report the sale of her 1989 Porsche Carrera. She was not charged in the indictment.
Calls to Chenault-Fattah's office, home and cellphones were not returned yesterday. NBC10 spokeswoman Shawn Feddeman also did not return phone calls seeking comment. But sources say Chenault-Fattah will be off the air for a few days.
