Twenty years after the dismembered remains of a woman were found in Chester County, Pennsylvania State Police are seeking leads in the cold case.

The upper body of the woman, who has never been identified, was found on July 11, 1995, off the roadway on Valley Creek Road in East Caln Township, near Boot Road, said Trooper Daniel Covert.

Her legs were discovered several months later in Core Creek Park, in Bucks County.

Police think she was between 17 and 25 years old, approximately 4 feet 11 inches to 5 feet 3 inches tall, and around 120 pounds. She had brown eyes, brown hair, a light complexion, pierced ears, and no scars or tattoos, Covert said.

Police are looking for any potential information about the woman or her death. Anyone with tips can contact Covert at 610-486-6214 or Trooper Chad Roberts at 717-290-1971.
