President Obama is delaying by an hour his trip to Philadelphia so he can personally call world leaders to brief them about the nuclear deal with Iran.

The president will now be in the city from 3 p.m. to nearly 7 p.m. to address the NAACP national convention and to attend a fund-raiser.

That means street closures and traffic disruptions as the presidential motorcade makes its way around the city, including trips from and back to Philadelphia International Airport.

The White House has released a new schedule that calls for Obama to arrive at the airport about 3 p.m. and to appear about an hour later at the NAACP gathering at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

After that, Obama will go to the Rittenhouse Hotel on Rittenhouse Square, where he will participate in a Democratic National Committee roundtable at 5:10 p.m.

Air Force One is scheduled to leave the airport at 6:50 p.m.
