E. Frankford man charged in Kensington shotgun attack

An East Frankford man allegedly involved in a shotgun attack last month that injured seven people in the city's Kensington section was arrested Tuesday, police said.

An East Frankford man allegedly involved in a shotgun attack last month that injured seven people in the city's Kensington section was arrested Tuesday, police said.

Dennis Tindal, 36, of the 5100 block of Charles Street, was charged with seven counts of aggravated assault and related offenses for the shooting assault in the 700 block of East Hilton Street.

Police said Tindal was involved in an argument and fight around 10 a.m. June 22 with three males at the scene.

Tindal vowed to return, which he did around 2:30 p.m., accompanied by an unidentified man armed with a shotgun given to him by Tindal, police said.

The second suspect was described as a dark-complected man in his late 20s, with a stocky build, last seen wearing a red-and-white tank top.

There remains a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the second man.
