SWARTHMORE The Swarthmore Public Library is to host a book fair Thursday to give Delaware County residents a chance to connect with local and independent authors.

More than a dozen authors are to attend the event to give public readings of their works and to meet with readers. Featured genres will include mystery, memoir, fiction, poetry, and environmental history.

Authors include Frank Dressler, Judith Trustone, C.P. Lesley, Annabel Liu, Louis Greenstein, Linda M. Fischer, Julia Mayer, Hugh MacMullan, Satya Nelms, Christine Emmert, Curt Smith, Chari Towne, and Jacki Bishop.

The event, hosted in the Council Room of the Swarthmore Borough Hall, 121 Park Ave., is to be from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
