1 dead in East Germantown triple shooting

One man was killed and two others were wounded in triple shooting in East Germantown. Philadelphia police said officers were called to the 1300 block of East Price Street just after 8:45 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.

Philadelphia police said officers were called to the 1300 block of East Price Street just after 8:45 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.

There, they found three men in the street, suffering from gunshot wounds.

One man, identified by police on Monday as 24-year-old Rashad Coleman, was pronounced dead at Albert Einstein Medical Center at 9:08 p.m. He had been shot in his left knee and buttocks.

A 32-year-old man was listed in critical condition at Einstein, where he was being treated for gunshot wounds to his stomach, right thigh and buttocks, police said.

The third victim, a 31-year-old man, was shot in his left calf. He had been released from the hospital by late Monday morning.

Police said the motive in the shooting remain unknown.

No information about any suspects was available.
