Boy, 2, struck by vehicle in West Phila.

A 2-year-old boy was in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in West Philadelphia, police said.

The boy was struck shortly before 8:50 p.m. in the 4100 block of Cambridge Street. He was transported to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The striking vehicle remained at the scene. - Robert Moran
