Police: Man charged with murder in stabbing death of Brittany Lange Green

Philadelphia police have arrested a West Philadelphia man in the stabbing death of a Logan woman last week. Police said it was a case of domestic violence.

Officers were called to the 4900 block of North Warnock Street for a report of a person screaming last Wednesday around 7:15 a.m. Inside a house, officers found Brittany Lange Green, 28, unconscious and suffering from stab wounds to her neck. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:50 a.m.

The Medical Examiner's Office determined Green died from a stab wound to the left side of the neck.

On Monday, Gerrell Hall, 28, was arrested and charged with murder in her death, police said.
