WEST CHESTER The YMCA of Greater Brandywine will open its outdoor pools to the public and offer free swim evaluations and water safety clinics over Memorial Day weekend.

The Y will offer programs including junior lifeguarding, water safety and mini swim lessons, at six of its nine facilities May 23, 24, and 25.

The joining fee for memberships will also be waived during those days.
