Two Delco men arrested for 2014 murder

Two Chester men were arrested Tuesday and charged with murder in connection with a 2014 homicide, police announced.

Charlie "Bebo" Camacho-Velazquez, 19, and Ruben "Benji" Velez-Maldonado, 35, neighbors in the 2600 block of Price Street, were taken into custody without incident after police executed arrest warrants. They were charged with murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, conspiracy, firearm violations and other related crimes.

According to court records, on Sept. 5, 2014, the men allegedly shot and killed Harold Medina at 12:30 a.m. as he got out of his car in the 2600 block of Boyle Street.

Bail was denied, and the two men were remanded to county jail.
