Ms. Daerr-Bannon was an assistant professor at Temple University's Fox School of Business and regularly taught business law, ethics, and alternative dispute resolution at Temple and its branch in Tokyo, Japan. She also had served as a guest lecturer at the Villanova University School of Law.

She married Richard Bannon. The two settled in Center City and then Villanova. They divorced; he survives.

Also surviving are her son, Richard Charles Bannon II; two brothers; three nephews; and a niece.
