Patricia Decatur Fridolph, 80, a former public school coach and teacher in Marlton and Medford, died of heart failure on Wednesday, March 25, at her home in Jensen Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Fridolph lived in Voorhees before retiring from teaching in 1994, said daughter-in-law Janine Fridolph.

Born in Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Fridolph graduated from Middletown High School, and earned a bachelor's degree in education at Glassboro State College (now Rowan University), and a master's in education at Temple University.

Mrs. Fridolph taught physical education at Medford Memorial Middle School and coached the girls' basketball team there. Later, she taught physical education classes at Marlton Middle School and YMCA classes in swimming and gymnastics.

She is survived by sons Michael and David, daughters Catherine Matthews and Carol Wiles, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John.

A visitation was set from 9 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Giosa Funeral Home, 171 Haddon Ave., West Berlin, before a 10:30 a.m. memorial service there, with interment in Berlin Cemetery Mausoleum.
