Two people have been arrested in the fatal shooting of man in Pottstown last month following a falling out over money, officials announced Tuesday.

Richard Collins and Mariah Walton are to be charged with killing Artie Bradley, 38, of Pottstown, said Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.

Police learned after Bradley was found dead in Pottstown on March 20 that he had had a relationship with Collins, 37, of Philadelphia, and Walton, 22, of Pottstown. Collins and Bradley had a falling out in the months leading up to his murder, Ferman said in a press release announcing the arrests.

Bradley asked Collins and Walton to come help him in an altercation with his lover on March 20, Ferman said. Collins and Walton used that as an opportunity to create an argument between Bradley and Collins, Ferman said, and Collins shot Bradley.

An autopsy showed that Bradley died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Collins and Walton are scheduled to be arraigned before a judge in Pottstown on Tuesday afternoon. They will face charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy, and other crimes.
