Kaitlin Abel, 24, was killed Oct. 30 when her car was hit by another vehicle on Route 13 in Falls Township. Authorities said Michael Ahearn, 22, of Lower Makefield, will be charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and related offenses. Ahearn's blood-alcohol level was nearly three times the legal threshold for intoxication, which is 0.08 percent, authorities said.
Ahearn is to be arraigned on the charges at 3 p.m. Thursday before District Judge Jan Vislosky. - Inquirer staff
