Police on Friday released the name of the man killed Thursday afternoon during an argument on the front steps of a South Philadelphia house.

Police on Friday released the name of the man killed Thursday afternoon during an argument on the front steps of a South Philadelphia house.

Michael Walsh, 38, of the 1500 block of South Bambrey Street, was shot about 4:20 p.m. on the 1400 block of Ritner Street. Police were seeking the gunman, who fled south on 15th Street in a dark-colored SUV.

A $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction is offered in all Philadelphia homicide cases. - Matt Gelb
