Bridge inspection in Montco to clog Schuylkill Expressway

LOWER MERION Commuters between Philadelphia and Montgomery County can expect more traffic than usual Monday as the state Department of Transportation is closing a lane on the Schuylkill Expressway in Lower Merion for bridge inspections.
On westbound I-76 at the City Avenue interchange, the right lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, PennDot said.
Traffic may be snarled heading into Philadelphia as well for the duration of the week. In the often-congested area of the expressway around 30th Street Station, PennDot will close a lane on the Schuylkill Avenue westbound ramp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through next Friday.
