Phila. police seek man who robbed Dunkin' Donuts

Philadelphia police on Thursday released surveillance footage of an armed robber who targeted a Dunkin' Donuts in Northeast Philadelphia last week, and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

Police said the man came into the store at 6401 E. Roosevelt Boulevard at around 7:52 p.m. on Oct. 26. At the counter, police said, the man lifted his jacket to show a handgun in his waistband - then threatened the employees behind the counter and demanded money. He fled with an unspecified amount of money, police said. No one was injured, police said.

Police described the suspect as wearing a dark green hooded jacket, black sunglasses, and a black scarf covering his nose.

Anyone with any information on the incident can call the department tip line at 215-686-TIPS.
