Man killed by SEPTA train in N.E. Phila.

An unidentified man was fatally struck by a SEPTA train Tuesday evening in Northeast Philadelphia, police said. The man reportedly stepped in front of the northbound Fox Chase Line train just south of the Lawndale station about 6:55 p.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
