Two critically hurt in Point Breeze shooting

Two men were critically wounded in a double shooting Monday evening in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia, police said.

Shortly before 6 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Lambert Street, a 22-year-old man was shot once in the abdomen. Philadelphia Housing Authority police took him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

A 19-year-old man was also shot in the abdomen and was taken by city police to the same hospital. No arrests were reported. - Robert Moran
