Police seek man after Chester teen is killed

A Chester teen was shot execution style Wednesday, and police are looking for the man who was seen running from the scene.

A Chester teen was shot execution style Wednesday, and police are looking for the man who was seen running from the scene.

Karon Pierce, 17, of the 100 block of Rainer Road in the Toby Farms section of the city was riding an older 10-speed bike in the 1100 block of Concord Avenue when he was gunned down, said Capt. Anita Amaro, Chester Police. He was alone at the time, she said.

Pierce was shot twice in the back of his head at close range, she said. The shooting took place at 12:16 p.m.

Police are looking for a man dressed in fatigue pants and a black top who was seen running from the area shortly after the shooting.
