A MAYFAIR MAN arrested in March for allegedly shooting a leader of the Pagans Motorcycle Club has been indicted by a grand jury, it was revealed in court yesterday.

William Damm, 44, of Friendship Street, will be formally arraigned Aug. 11, Common Pleas Judge Charles Ehrlich said. He is free on bail in the March 22 shooting of his cousin and next-door neighbor, Michael "Brick" Lane, 31.

At the time of the shooting, sources said, Lane was the president of the Northeast Philadelphia chapter of the Pagans.

Damm allegedly shot him in the face and shoulder after Lane and other Pagans members went to Damm's house during a dispute.

Damm is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and possession of an instrument of crime.
