THE Daily News Pet of the Week is Oreo, a 6-to-12-month-old Australian cattle dog mix at the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society.
Oreo is eager to please, and knows some basic commands. She tolerates other dogs but her compatibility with cats is unknown.
To adopt Oreo, contact PAWS at dogs@phillypaws.org or 215-298-9680, ext. 16, before visiting the shelter at 2nd and Arch streets, Old City.
When inquiring, provide her tag identifier, A22985401-Clinic. A $200 fee includes sterilization, vaccines and microchipping.
