Shootings leave 3 hospitalized in Phila.

Three people were injured in two shootings in the city Friday evening. A man and a teenage boy were shot and wounded on the street near the 1000 block of West Ruscomb Street about 5:30 p.m. Friday in the city's Logan section, police said. Both the boy, 14, and the adult, 27, were shot once in the left leg. Both victims were taken to Einstein Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition.

Both the boy, 14, and the adult, 27, were shot once in the left leg. Both victims were taken to Einstein Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition.

About two hours later, a 24-year-old man was shot three times at Temple Road and Sharpnack Street in the Cedarbrook section of East Mount Airy. His injuries were to the left leg, left arm, and neck. He also was listed in stable condition at Einstein.

Police had no details about motive or possible shooters in either case.- Rita Giordano
