ID cards for discounts

offered to military veterans

The Bucks County recorder of deeds will set up two locations in the coming days at which military veterans can get free identification cards that provide discounts to Bucks County businesses.

  • The first offering will be in upper Bucks, at the Dublin Fire Company on North Main Street, Dublin, on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The second location will be in lower Bucks, at Penndel Borough Hall on Bellevue Avenue, Penndel, on June 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    With the card, veterans can get discounts of 5 percent to 20 percent on merchandise and services. More than 1,100 participating businesses are listed on the county website, www.BucksCounty.org.

    Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form to receive a card. For information about the program, call 215-348-6209.
